A CHANGE!!!!

2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Hardest yet most mature act of transformation is refusing to result back to the "ways" that you were once used to

For those of you who Know me, i have been undergoing a spiritual and moral transformation over the past 3 years. In my experiences i notice that i am quick to result back to ways that i handled and dealt with things prior to Christ.I think it easy (although wrong) to fall back on how we use to do stuff, its second nature. When arguing with someone it is easy to intentionally offend them, When we are angry with someone it is easy to provoke and antagonize them, but when we are made new in the spirit all of this is supposed to change.

The word of God reveals a dunamis (power) in the blood of Christ that is all sufficient to cleanse us from the  root of sin found in man after the fall of humankind. The Holy Spirits power is a dynamite and  explosive power that is capable of all. The Holy Spirit has power to perform miracles, has the power to set free, has the power to heal. In My opinion, if the Holy Spirit has the power to do such great and miraculous things, then why is it that we hold on to the old ways that we were used to?

In Ephesians 4 Paul talks about the nature of man in regards to believer; exploring a compare and contrast model of the Old person and The New person (Born In Christ) and the difference in spiritual and natural qualities.. (Read it Here).

With the Holy Spirit dwelling in us we have power over our old nature, to subdue our it and make it subject to our new man. As the illustration used earlier, these two natures are in conflict with one another, both seek to master the body. We must choose to enable the God’s Spirit to have power in our life, by starving our old nature and feeding our new nature.

Basically in so many words, we have a choice to live in the ways of the Old man, or to allow Gods Spirit to take the lead.
When we start allowing the spirit to lead us, just as Paul mentions in Ephesians 4, his spirit will be illuminated through us.
Are you ready to allow him to take the wheel?

Let Jesus Take the will, to make the change in your life....
